Crash Reporter ↑
The Exodus Viewer comes with a crash reporter program which sends us a report when Exodus Viewer crashes. This is the same crash reporter used in the official Second Life client with the exception that information is sent to us instead of Linden Research, Inc. The Exodus Viewer developers use the information in the crash reports to diagnose and correct the problems in Exodus Viewer that caused the crash.
Additionally, this information may be used for statistical purposes to determine what crashes are the most common. This feature starts automatically after Exodus Viewer crashes or when starting Exodus Viewer again after a crash. This feature sends a variety of information to Exodus Viewer developers, including a mini crash dump (data used to recreate the state of the Exodus Viewer code at the time of the crash), the "ExodusViewer.log" file, the "settings.xml" file, statistical information (packets sent/recieved, packet loss etc.) regarding your session and the type of computer you are using. Crash reports can include information such as the UUID and username of a logged in account and various path/file locations on your computer.
